We have created 2 wonderful and engaging presentations for secondary and highschool students, staff, teachers, and parents.  Our emphasis is on education through entertainment.

The Mental Artiste Memory Improvement Assembly Show for Secondary & High Schools

OSLC 2015

Standing “O” for The Mental Artiste!

“If I can show your students how to memorize the Provinces and Territories in Canada, AND in the order they joined Confederation…in less than 10 minutes, IMAGINE what YOU can teach them in a year!”

This assembly show is an intelligent, sophisticated and lighthearted look at the mental capabilities we all possess and how to help instill these abilities in students, teachers, and administration.

“We teach YOUR students simple memory techniques they can keep for the rest of their lives!”

It is a fun, interactive comedy show presented in gymnasiums, auditoriums and cafetoriums with audience sizes
from 150 to 1200 students or more.

Students love to participate.  The more fun they have, the more they engage.  The more they engage in learning, the more they learn.

The Workshop:

In addition to the Mental Artiste Show, Rick has developed this highly interactive, fun, and educational workshop program called …

“Zed whY – the eX-Warrior & Other Wicked Brain Hacks!!”ZedWhyOnly

See this guy?  His name is Zed Why, an ex-Warrior with the Vuts Clan. In his pocket are coupons for milk jugs to feed his cute baby alligators.
We show students that using their imaginations and other techniques can help them be confident in accomplishing ANYTHING…even memorizing the alphabet backwards.

(You remember this guy? Zed whY (Z-Y) VUTS clan, in his pocket, Q-PONS for MiLKJIGHs (jugs) to FEeDCute Baby Alligators (FED C-B-A) ..See, That sentence is actually…the alphabet BACKWARDS!  Cool!)

Through fun and interactive games and demonstrations like this, Rick Cool, the Mental Artiste, teaches students how to use their imagination and imagery to open the possible abilities of their minds.
Students learn to generate “out of the box” creative ideas and make them a reality; de-stress to unclutter their minds; and easy-to-master memory tips and tricks to remember names, people, lists…even school stuff!

Coming soon to:

  • Ontario WorhshopOntario Student Leadership Conference in Niagara Falls,
  • Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving,
  • and other conferences across Canada

Presented as 60-70 minute long (Period length) shows either for individual Grades, or, most often, open to the whole school.  Performances can be held in either a theatre, cafetorium, or a larger venue like the gymnasium where every student in the school can watch and participate in the show.

“Confidence builds more confidence, …and that, in turn… improves self esteem!  Being able to recall a list of any 10 items easily, at first might seem a neat “trick”, but the internal, personal feeling of success, creates a confidence that lasts well after the “trick” is over!”

The teacher gave him the “clip on” microphone for his lapel.  “It’s for a students’ ocular implant.”, she said.
“You’ll be the first presenter he’s ever… HEARD!”

MicClipIt was an emotional moment as Rick prepared backstage to present his new assembly show for the 400 excited and eager high school students and teachers who had assembled in the Cafetorium.

The first presentation this young lad would hear is about how being “Weird is Awesome!
